• Koyasan Highlights (Departing from Kyoto) :  

This tour is only available between the end of April and the end of November due to the highway bus schedule.

【NOTES】

(1) Above tour is private and guided: other guests outside your group will NOT participate the same tour. Maximum six people for each tour/group. 

(2) Please book at least 11 days prior to your desired tour day, if possible.

(3) Above is a One Day Tour (up to 9~11.5 hours); if you wish to book more than one tour (for more than one day), it is possible. (e.g.)  Mt.Koya + Kyoto + Nara/Asuka

(4) Language used in tours is English (or some Japanese if you wish; please read "Concepts" for more details).

*Children under 5 years old or younger will be excluded from the number of persons in your group when calculating the Tour price.

*If Children of 6 through 11 years old are in your group, you will receive a discount.

(1) Tour Prices

Highway bus fares (between Kyoto and Koyasan)

• A round Trip costs JPY 4,500 per adult and JPY  2,250 per child (11 years old or younger) ; if you are coming back to Kyoto.
• A one way trip costs JPY 2,500 per adult and JPY 1,250 per  child (11 years old or younger) ; if you are staying at Koyasan (NOT coming back to Kyoto).
• If a baby/infant does not need a seat (it means he/she can sit on your laps), the highway bus fare for the baby /infant will be free of charge.

(2) Included

• Entry/Admission fees 

for places written on the itinerary/website

• Public Transportation fees

e.g., bus, subway, and trains to visit places written on the itinerary/website

• Guiding fee

(3) Not included

• Meals and snacks 

 e.g., Lunch and drinks 

• Travel Insurance 

Kyoto MANSAI Tours recommends all the clients shall have travel insurance of sufficient amount before participating the tour. 

• Other cost incurred as a result of the request from the Client(s) during the tour

e.g., Taxi, entry fees and public transportation fares for places not written on the itinerary /website (for you and the guide)

(1) Meeting Time

Between 8:00 and 8:30 A.M.

*Details will be informed when booking.

(2) Meeting Point

The guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel/accommodation (within Kyoto city) as the starting point of the tour.

(3) Ending Point

By clicking the place names below, you can see the locations on the map.

• Kyoto Station (Hachijo exit bus stop) in Kyoto prefecture; if you are coming back to Kyoto.
• Mt. Koya (Okunoin-mae bus stop) in Wakayama prefecture; if you are staying on Mt. Koya (NOT coming back to Kyoto).

• Tours comprise of walking and the usage of public transport.

• Taxis are also possible (partially or entirely) upon your request however it will be your additional cost.

• If the client is traveling alone, he/she needs to be 20 years old or over to book "Koyasan guided private tours" by Kyoto MANSAI Tours.
• If there is a traveler under 20 years old of age is in your group, he/she needs to be accompanied by his/her parent or guardian.

*The age of adulthood is 20 years old in Japan.

*The age mentioned here means the age on the date of the tour. 

Step 1: Reserve the Day

• Please submit the following "Reservation Form for the Tour Day" to reserve the day; submitting only this form does NOT mean your reservation is completed.

• Within 24 hours you will receive a response, which informs you whether the guide is available or not on your requested tour day.

If you do not receive any response within 24 hours, please check your spam email folder or/and contact Kyoto MANSAI Tours again.

Step 2: Inform other necessary information

• When the day is secured for you, you will receive the link of "Booking Form" by e-mail.
• In the Booking Form, you will be asked other necessary information.
• Please submit the Booking Form within 3 days you receive it. 

Step 3: Pay the deposit / tour fare
