Cancellation Policy

• Timing of cancellation notice is based on Japan local time.

• The cancellation will be effective on which Kyoto MANSAI Tours (hereinafter called "KMT") receives your written notification by email.

Cancellation Policy for:

(1) Tours WITHOUT arrangement of accommodation by KMT

(2) Tours WITH arrangement of accommodation by KMT

(3) Arranged Tour

If notice of cancellation is received by KMT

（1）up to 11 days prior to the date of the tour:

• The Amount of Plan Charge (10% of the tour fare) if it is a customized tour at the request of the client

（2）10 – 8 days prior to the date of the tour:　

•  20 % of the tour fare

（3）7 – 2 days prior to the date of the tour:

•  30 % of the tour fare

（4）1 day prior to the date of the tour:

•  40 % of the tour fare

（5）prior to the staring time of the tour on the tour date:

• 50 % of the tour fare

（6）after the starting time of the tour on the tour date, or in case of failure to show without notice:

• 100 % of the tour fare

If notice of cancellation is received by KMT

（1）up to 21 days prior to the starting date of the tour:

• The Amount of Plan Charge (10% of the tour fare) if it is a customized tour at the request of the client

（2）20 – 8 days prior to the starting date of the tour:　

•  20 % of the tour fare

（3）7 – 2 days prior to the starting date of the tour:

•  30 % of the tour fare

（4）1 day prior to the starting date of the tour:

•  40 % of the tour fare

（5）prior to the  staring time of the tour on the tour date:

• 50 % of the tour fare

（6）after the starting time of the tour on the tour date, or in case of failure to show without notice:

• 100 % of the tour fare

Arranged Tours mean KMT making arrangements at the request of the traveler by representing him/her for services such as transportation and/or accommodation.

The traveler will be required to bear the cancellation fees and penalty charges payable to the transportation and/or accommodation facilities, etc. and other expenses required to change arrangements, where arrangements already made are being cancelled, and in addition, the traveler will be required to pay to KMT its handling charge for the cancellation /changes.
